Caesars Windsor is one of the best casinos in Ontario if not all of Canada. In addition to the massive gaming floor, four start hotel, nightclubs, bars, and dining facilities you'll find incredible city scenery. Windsor also has great shopping and activities for the entire family. Those coming from the States can make their money last longer thanks to the exchange rate. On the other hand, if you’re a Canadian, you can always cross the bridge or tunnel into Detroit for a music concert or visit to the famous Motown museum, Renaissance Center, or Masonic Temple.

Getting There

With a prime location on the south shore of the Detroit River, Caesars Windsor is easy to find whether you are visiting from Canada or the USA.

Canadians can follow highway 401 to Dougall Parkway continuing onto Dougall Avenue and then Ouellette Avenue, finally turning right onto Riverside Drive. You'll find the casino on your right but you can hang a right on Glengarry and you'll find a parking garage behind the casino south of Chatham Street.

Americans should take the Windsor-Detroit tunnel to Canada, turn right on Goyeau St, turn left immediately onto Wyandotte St E and then left onto McDougall Ave. The casino's rear entrance is at the end of the block.

Entry Requirements

Unless you're visiting one of the nightclubs or Nero’s Steakhouse, which requires business casual attire, Caesars Windsor has no dress code. Given the overall ambience, you won't feel out of place if you feel like dressing up. While there is no entrance fee, you will need to be at least 19 years of age to visit the casino. Be sure to bring government identification even if you don't plan on playing. American visitors will be pleased to know that the legal drinking age is only 19, although Ontario law prohibits complimentary alcoholic beverages like you'll find in Las Vegas.
